This is a
Certificated Site (CS). We have 5 hard standing pitches
for motor home
and touring caravans, all of which have electrical hook-ups, and space in our 2 acre field for upto 15 additional
tents with a further 2 electrical hookups available.
Hard standing pitches are for Camping and Caravanning Club members and prospective members only, you do not need to be a member in order to camp at our site with a tent. You can become a member by visiting the Camping and Caravanning Club website.
The site is level and mainly grassy with access to the hard standings via a shale
road around the outside of the campsite. Some shelter is available in
certain areas of the site. Each hard standing pitch measures 3m x 6m and has
an adjacent grass area of the same size.
Campfires are not allowed and we ask that if you wish to use a disposable BBQ that it is raised off the grass, blocks can be provided for this purpose.

The site is located just one mile outside New Quay and pleasant 10 minute walk to the local pub (Penrhiwllan Inn) at the end of the lane which serves a large selction of great food. The nearest mini supermarket can be found in New Quay along with an array of newsagents and gift shops.
The area around the site is all farmland with several footpaths and rights of way for those who enjoy trekking or walking the dog. The coastal path along the cliffs of the Marine Heritage Coastline is only a 10 minute walk away, across two fields. From there you can ramble up the coast to New Quay and beyond or down the coast to Cwmtydu. This gives access to some of the best unspoilt coastal landscapes in the country.
Booking in advance is highly recommended at peak times, over bank and school holidays, to ensure a suitable pitch is available, especially if electric-hook up is required. At all other times, booking is not normally required but is still recommended to avoid disappointment. Please give as much notice as possible if you have to cancel a booking.

Please Note: From 1st January 2012 non Camping and Caravanning Club members will incur a pitch fee of £2 per night. Membership details will need to be provided on arrival to pay member prices.

- Visitors must call in at farmhouse before setting up camp except if arriving out of hours with a pitch already booked
- Site fees are payable on arrival
- Tents must be pitched with respect to other campers leaving a minimum of 3 metres gap
- Dogs are welcome onto the site, as long as they are kept under control and do not foul the site
- Free-standing barbecues are allowed but no camp fires
- During peak times all pitches must be vacated by noon with new arrivals no earlier that 1pm
- No loud music at any time
- No littering of the site
- Gazebos are permitted but will incur an additional charge.
- If using campsite facilities be thoughtful to other users leaving them clean and tidy
- Do not exclude others from using the picnic tables
- Vehicles on site must not exceed 5mph
